THE ROYAL Forestry Society invites entries for its Excellence in Forestry Awards. After piloting the awards in Yorkshire and the North East, this year is the turn for the South East and London.
Categories include: The Duke of Cornwall's Award for multi-purpose forestry; the Community Forestry Award; The Schools Award; the Farm Woodland Award; and the RFS Silviculture Award. Entries close at noon on 9 March 2010.
The Awards will be presented at the Weald Wood Fair at Bentley on 17 September 2010,
