CLA South East

The CLA's South East regional team is based in two offices.

The Regional team with the exception of David Langford work from our office at Forton, near Andover in Hampshire.

Rupert Ashby, is the Regional Director, South East and is responsible for the whole of the South East Region.  He is assisted by Ben Underwood and John Major our Regional Surveyor who both cover the region and are the first port of call for members queries.

Mary Davenport, Regional Affairs Manager works full time. She primarily looks after our members in Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Hampshire and Oxfordshire as well as co-ordinating the lobbying in the region; locally, regionally and nationally.  Josephine Fisk, Regional Administrator primarily looks after our members in Kent, Surrey and Sussex. Sue Baron-Duff, Membership Co-ordinator is also based in the Forton office.  She can be reached between 9.00am and 3.00pm on membership matters.

The Regional Director on the Isle of Wight is David Langford who works from an office not far from Yarmouth.

As the south east region ranges from Buckinghamshire in the north, to Kent in the east and Hampshire and the Isle of Wight in the south, it is unique in the diversity of the activities of its members and the difference in their needs. The regional team is highly experienced and able to deal with the large variety of queries our members may have.

Rupert, John, Ben and David lobby on behalf of our members and sit on many panels, board and advisory bodies throughout the region and with the support of our team of professional advisers based close to the seat of Government in London, respond in depth to consultations on all rural issues.
