Cumbria gears up for the year’s biggest countryside event Thousands of people from across the region are getting ready for The CLA Game Fair, the world's largest countryside event, which takes place at Ragley Hall, Warwickshire on Friday 23 – Sunday 25 July. With up to 140,000 visitors and almost 1,000 exhibitors and attractions expected over the three days, this is the event of the year for anyone and everyone interested in the countryside. Importantly it provides local companies with an international shop window. Michael Hold, Director of Sales at Cumbria-based Airstream Europe, said: "The CLA Game Fair gives us a fantastic opportunity to meet up with old friends and to educate new friends about the advantages of owning an iconic, silver bullet Airstream and the cool factor associated with becoming an Airstreamer."
Michael and the team will be on Stand C154, in the Holiday section near the main arena, with a display including the award-winning, top-of-the-range, 4 berth Airstream International 684, the 2 berth 532 and the cutest in the range, the Bambi 422.
Michael Hold can be contacted on 01539624141/07710761229 or visit www.airstreameurope.co.uk for more details.
Carlisle artist Ashley Boon sees the event as a must. He says: "As a Wildlife & Sporting Artist I have shown my work at the CLA Game Fair for nearly ten years. It is the premier event of its kind and an excellent marketplace. I look forward to seeing old clients and meeting new ones. It is a great showcase for both my artwork and a more recent venture - organising and joint-leading safaris to Botswana. Visitors to my stand, P 1301, will be able to see a collection of recent paintings and drawings of wildlife from the UK to Southern Africa". Held annually at different prestigious country estates and now in its 52nd year, The CLA Game Fair is firmly established as the leading annual shop window for the countryside. It encompasses all aspects of rural living with exhibitions, features, displays, championships, competitions and almost 1000 exhibitors. Regularly attracting over 136,000 visitors, the Game Fair presents a unique three days of fantastic entertainment with a multitude of have-a-go opportunities for people of all ages to watch and participate in. Have-a-Go is the theme which runs through out the hundreds of acres where visitors will have the chance to try lots of activities from fishing, clay shooting, archery and 4 x 4 driving to dog training, laser combat, hands on falconry, mountain boarding and quad bikes to name but a few. Add to this mountain boarding, archery, fishing and other major areas such as gundogs, Hooked on Horses and the Totally Food Show, and you have a world class event with something for everyone. Full details on these and the many other features and displays that make up The CLA Game Fair, as well as ticket and travel information can be found at www.gamefair.co.uk -ends- |
