CLA Insurance Services strengthens presence in the north CLA Insurance Services (CLAIS) has strengthened its presence in the region with the appointment of Edmund Sword, Development Executive for Farms & Estates. Edmund graduated from Newcastle University with a degree in Agriculture and Business Management and is now looking forward to getting back to his rural roots. He said: "I grew up in the countryside and have always had a keen interest in agriculture. My new role with CLAIS is a great opportunity to bring together my experience in the insurance industry and my interest in farming and the rural economy." CLAIS offers an exclusive range of insurance products for small landowners, farms and country estates as well as rural businesses. The rural motor policy provides the option of cover for family or commercial fleet - including private cars, commercial and agricultural vehicles all under one policy.
