Seminar focuses on social media

The CLA is inviting local farmers, landowners and rural business owners to attend a social media training session at Crabtree Hall Business Centre near Catterick on Wednesday 28 March.

The half-day session, run by Simon Duncan of Electroville, will look at: what social media is; fears and concerns; how social media is being used, including relevant case studies; how you can use social media to help you achieve your goals; and how to develop a social media strategy.

It will examine the use of social media by farming and rural organisations with a view to learning from what they are doing. By the end of the session, attendees will know enough about social media to plan their own strategy and make it work for their business.

The cost for the event is £15 (including lunch) for CLA members and £30 for non-members. To book a place, please telephone the CLA on 01748 907070 or email: info.north@cla.org.uk
