HS2 update at Cheshire Show

HS2 update at Cheshire Show Two Chester businesses are joining forces with the CLA at this year's Cheshire Show on 18 - 19 June to raise awareness of the implications of the High Speed Two (HS2) rail network on Cheshire landowners and farmers, and to offer specialist advice.

Experts from Walker Smith Way,  Fisher German Denton Clark and the CLA will present an update on the HS2 project and provide a range of helpful advice for those affected by it.

The free 20 minute presentation will be held at 10am on both mornings of the show, at our shared marquee on Row D2, Stand 9/10.

The presentation will include an update on land agency matters from Fisher German Denton Clark  lobbying on issues by CLA Rural Surveyor Richard Goodwin (pictured) including compulsory purchase, land take, mitigation and impact of environmental measures, and Walker Smith Way will cover legal implications and considerations.

The presentation will be followed by a Q&A. We will also be collecting case studies as lobbying evidence and we will have a full set of maps covering the HS2 route.

As well delivering the HS2 presentations, the stand will be manned by a range of specialist employees from the three local businesses, covering all aspects of farming, land management and rural business, as well as a renewable energy feature.

All members, clients and contacts are invited to attend the stand at any point across the two days and speak to our advisers.
