London AGM

London Branch members enjoyed an excellent AGM, hosted by Deutsche Bank on Thursday 21 June.

The evening began with the AGM meeting where the London Branch Committee were elected for the coming year.

Following the meeting, Robert Windle, resident agent at the Cowdray Estate, entertained members with an in-depth talk on the Holistic Management of the Estate. Robert explained how Cowdray had pulled out of organic methods and now takes a more 'common sense' approach while still ensuring the soil is looked after.

Members were also interested in the recent addition of the 'destination' farm shop that has flourished as customers are keen to buy local.

Robert summarised the Cowdray ethos as a 'proactive approach, where money matters, property should be maintained and land should be looked after'.

The evening concluded with drinks and a superb selection of canapés.

Solicitors Indemnity Fund . Solicitors in the CLA Legal Team are not covered by the Solicitors Indemnity Fund in relation to professional negligence in relation to any advice given by them.
