CLA In Your Area

The CLA London Branch is an initiative which provides the opportunity to join a select group of people who have strong rural connections, both business and social, but who spend a good deal of their time in London. It will be of particular interest to individuals from a business, professional or landowning background. To belong you don’t have to live in London but you will need to be a member of the CLA.

CLA London Branch consists of a regular series of policybased and social meetings usually at a London venue and in the early evening. These meetings will be informative and topical featuring headline speakers, followed by questions and discussions. Through its own committee structure and representation within the CLA, views and ideas expressed at London Branch meetings will be fed into CLA policy formulation and political lobbying, so you can be sure that they will have a very solid outcome.

Members will have an unparalleled opportunity to meet, exchange views and share experience with others involved in landowning and rural economic matters, in particular with those from outside their own geographic or business area. These networking opportunities are important. CLA members own or manage over 60% of the rural land in England and Wales and the largest landowning members within the CLA are automatically entitled to join the London Branch as part of their subscription.

Membership of London Branch is open to all other CLA landowning, business and professional members too, regardless of location, and will provide a broad regional network and unrivalled access to those who have a significant stake in the countryside

Membership Benefits
