A regional adviser who handles environmental issues affecting landowners in Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Essex, Hertfordshire, Norfolk and Suffolk, including implementation of the Water Framework Directive and Nitrate Vulnerable Zones, waste, fly-tipping and agri-environment schemes, rural grants, coastal defences and access. He will also be dealing with political matters at all levels of local, national and EU government.
Rob grew up on an arable farm in Suffolk and went on to work on farm policy in the U.S. government in Washington D.C. He returned to the UK to work as adviser to the director general of UKASTA, representing the agricultural supply industry. He moved back to the family farm and set up a consultancy to advise on a range of agricultural and environmental policy issues and converted 15th century barns on the farm into a health club and day spa, before joining the CLA. Rob is married to Leslie and they have two children, Daniel and Jonathan.

A chartered surveyor, covers Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Essex, Hertfordshire, Middlesex, Norfolk and Suffolk.
Tim grew up on a livestock farm in north-east Essex. He now lives there with his own family and runs a number of small-scale livestock and forestry enterprises. After graduating from Wye College with a degree in agriculture in 1996, Tim entered into private practice as a rural surveyor, specialising in farm and estate management.
Since 2006, he has been the Eastern Region Surveyor for the CLA. His role includes advising and representing members on all aspects of rural business management and lobbying all levels of Government on key rural issues.
