![]() ![]() ![]() The CLA's East Midlands Regional Office is situated in a converted farm building at Sutton Bassett 2 miles from Market Harborough, Leicestershire and 12 miles from the Northamptonshire town of Kettering. The region covers the counties of Derbyshire, Leicestershire & Rutland, Lincolnshire, Northamptonshire and Nottinghamshire and has some 4500 farming, landowning and rural business members. Advice, support and services Advisory Services - access to free advisory services (full members only) providing independant, impartial advice and information on a range of rural and business issues. Representation - with seats on a number of panels and advisory bodies throughout the region we represent members interests and assist with the rural proofing of policy and with the support of our team of professional advisers based close to the seat of Government in London, we respond in depth to consultations on all rural issues. Lobbying - local, county and regional lobbying activities targeting MP's MEP's, authorities, agencies and the general public. Local News - Keep in touch with the latest news affecting rural business through our press releases and regional E-news. We offer advice on grants, rights of way and increased access, planning issues, tenancies, compulsory purchase and dealing with bureaucracy. We also get many stories in to the print, online and broadcast media so we can even help your business with PR and publicity. Please note that whilst the advisers are able to advise on a wide range of subjects relating to land ownership, they cannot act in place of a member's own solicitor, accountant, surveyor and tax specialist by, for example, drafting documents or corresponding on their behalf and may be precluded, by the rules of their own professions, from advising one CLA member against another CLA member in the case of conflict.
Solicitors Indemnity Fund . Solicitors in the CLA Legal Team are not covered by the Solicitors Indemnity Fund in relation to professional negligence in relation to any advice given by them.
