The CLA Game Fair on Track

The CLA Game Fair on Track

The set up of The CLA Game Fair is well on track in readiness for the show which is being held at Harewood House, nr Leeds on Friday 27th to Sunday 29th July.

With other shows having experienced difficulties, there have been rumours circulating that The CLA Game Fair might not be going ahead due to the weather.   However, as organisers of one of the biggest outdoor exhibitions held in the UK each summer, we have a highly experienced exhibition team who have had plans in place for some time to overcome the wet weather conditions being experienced so far this summer.  Provisions for the unprecedented rain include trackway and other protective measures

With this equipment, careful planning, care, hard work and extra hours being put in by the 100 strong team, The Game Fair is well on schedule with the build up and the site is in excellent condition.

There is no question of The CLA Game Fair not going ahead.

We are very much looking forward to welcoming our exhibitors, who we know have had a hard summer so far, and the many thousands of visitors who attend each year. Confirmation that we are definitely going ahead is good news for everyone because last year the Economic Survey undertaken by Bournemouth University showed that the visitors spend was £49.63 million.  This is also important news for the local economy since previous surveys indicate that the effect on the wider economy is expected to exceed £16 million.

We are confident that we will give everyone a great three days when our gates open on Friday 27th.
