What a scorcher !!
If we thought the sun was hot on Saturday - Day 2 of the CLA Game Fair - Sunday was even hotter with temperatures hitting, I believe, as high as 85 degrees fahrenheit. The fact that we were able to work throughout the day is testament to the gruelling physical regime in place at CLA London !
Unfortunately, the day started badly for me when I managed to drop a rather heavy leaflet holder on my right hand, leading it to bruise and swell badly. But the show must go on and in the morning we had a steady stream of the public coming to the wine tastings and the food demonstrations.
During the afternoon, a more relaxed atmosphere invaded the show when it become a time for sitting down and just taking stock of what the Game Fair actually represents. Over the three days some 151,000 people visited the show - a significant increase on 2006 when the Game Fair was last held. If there were doubts, these have been alleviated, and the CLA Game Fair is clearly the largest event of its kind in the world.
So it's 'Ciao' to Blenheim 2008 and 'Buongiorno' to Belvoir 2009 !
Looking forward to seeing you there on the 'Just Ask' stand.
