After three weeks, 20 calls and hours of being left on hold, British Telecom finally repaired my snow-tripped telephone line. Not that I have noticed the difference very much!
Where I live in rural Berkshire, the speed of my internet connection is glacial. But it would have been nice to speak to the outside world on the landline.
A prize to anyone who gives me a BT number on which you can actually speak to someone.
And before you ask, no, British Telecom does not do complaints. How do businesses who really rely on BT’s monopoly infrastructure cope? Am I the only one suffering? Let me know.
It is known in the trade as 'BT rage' and is a well known cause of early on-set heart disease.
