This web site is owned and operated by Country Land and Business Association ("CLA" or "We" or "Our"). We are committed to protecting the privacy of personally-identifiable information that we collect from you as you use our web site.

What Information do we gather?
We value your privacy and you can visit our site without revealing any information about yourself. There are sections of the site where you are asked to provide personal information. It is up to you whether or not you provide this information.
We may ask you to provide the following information:
Your name, mailing address, email address and telephone number.
We may also ask for other information to help us to analyse and develop our marketing strategy and to help us to improve the site and our communications and service to you.

CLA shall not intentionally disclose (and shall take commercially reasonable steps to prevent accidental disclosure of) your personal information to third parties. We do not sell, rent or otherwise disclose your personal information to third parties without your consent. However, we may disclose this information when required by law or regulation.

We are committed to protecting the quality and integrity of your personal information. Only authorized CLA personnel are allowed access to personally-identifiable information and these employees are required to treat this information as confidential. We have implemented appropriate physical, technical and managerial procedures to maintain information that is accurate, current, secure and complete.

How can I access, change, and/or delete information?
You may access, correct, update and/or delete any personally-identifiable information that you submitted to the Site. You may also unsubscribe any mailing lists of registrations on the Site. To do so send us an email to mail@cla.org.uk

The CLA is not responsible for the content or privacy policies of external web sites

Use of cookies

A 'cookie' is a text file that is placed by our server onto your PC into your Cookie folder. This text file contains data which, unless the cookie is deleted, allows you to log in to our website the next time you visit without having to re-enter your details.

Any person making use of the Advisory Services accepts such restrictions. Members should refer to appropriate professional advisers in private practice before taking any particular course of action potentially or actually involving any substantial amounts of money.

Please note that whilst the advisers are able to advise on a wide range of subjects relating to land ownership, they cannot act in place of a member's own solicitor, accountant, surveyor and tax specialist by, for example, drafting documents or corresponding on their behalf and may be precluded, by the rules of their own professions, from advising one CLA member against another CLA member in the case of conflict.

Solicitors Indemnity Fund . Solicitors in the CLA Legal Team are not covered by the Solicitors Indemnity Fund in relation to professional negligence in relation to any advice given by them.
